Carver’s Plans for Fall Semester During the COVID-19 Pandemic

In the last four weeks, new weekly COVID-19 cases in the Kansas City Metropolitan area (including the nine surrounding counties) have increased from 709 cases (6/20) to over 2,557 cases (7/18), which is an increase of 260.6%

The reality is that America is still searching for answers regarding how to reduce the spread of COVID-19.  It has challenged our institution’s leadership to think about what Carver can do to be a part of the solution.  Out of an abundance of caution and based on the recent record number of COVID-19 cases in the U.S. and the increasing number of cases locally, Carver will hold all Fall 2020 Courses online only.  The Association of Biblical Higher Education (ABHE) has waived the rule that stipulates that an institution must not hold more than 50% of classes online due to the pandemic.
