Realizing the Vision

If Carver is to realize our vision of becoming “Urban America’s choice for Christian Higher Education,” we will need for every alumnus, board member, staff member, faculty member, student, and supporter to help us by doing the following:

  1. Represent Carver – We must take advantage of every opportunity we are afforded to talk about the impact that a biblical education obtained at Carver is having on our community.

  2. Recruit new students and Reclaim non-active students – While promoting the importance of obtaining a biblical education, tell those in your sphere of influence about Carver.  Students, faculty, and administration should also endeavor to encourage non-active students to re-enroll in our school.

  3. Rigor (volunteering) – We must look for opportunities to be active in supporting Carver with our time and talents.  Carver has a great need for expertise in many areas including administration, computing, and other technical and non-technical areas.

  4. Refer potential donors (friend-raising) – Believe it or not, there are several people in your sphere of influence who would love to support Carver.  This provision of support can only occur if you and I tell them about our school and ask them to support Carver financially.

  5. Resources (financial support) – Every one of us should be willing to support our school financially to ensure that Carver continues to be a viable source for Christian training in urban America.  We will be more likely to ask others to give to our school if we are generously supporting Carver ourselves.

Thank you for joining us as we endeavor to assist in “equipping the saints for the work of ministry.” (Ephesians 4:12)
